Spanish Fiesta

This time next month I will be in Spain!! I would have written that yesterday, but it wouldn't technically be true, I would be on my way to Spain, but not actually there yet, not breathing the air, hearing the chatter, experiencing summer in this Mediterranean touched country!

And I'm having a party to celebrate my upcoming trip - what better way to get in the mood? :)

I'm looking forward to making some simple tapas, mixing up two punch bowls worth of sangria (white and red); frying some churros (Spanish donuts) for dipping into flowing chocolate (check out http://www.sanchurros.com/ to get the delectable idea). And we've got some fun thoughts on various games and decorations.

I'm planning to browse through a few costume stores tomorrow to get some Iberian inspirations - fingers crossed for a gorgeous flamenco outfit to fall in love with.
