As you can see from the slideshow currently swirling to the left of this post, I had my Spanish Fiesta this past Saturday. It was a chilly but clear night and the house looked warm, cosy and inviting - food filled to the brim with tapas, nachos and churros!
Thank you to everyone who braved the winter blahs to get into the sultry Spanish mood and we enjoyed the Running of The Bulls care of Pamplona boys Scott, Mat and Clint (and Bullish Ben, of course!) and some SingStar kareoke in honour of former Spanish colony, the Phillipines.
I'm organising my packing and various travel related issues this week both at home and at work and then it's onto a plane to Barcelona on Saturday afternoon! I land in Spain mid Sunday morning and then catch a small quick jaunt on Iberia Air down to Seville in the Andalucian region.
I got an email from GoLearnTo and my host family consists of a spry Spanish senora and her little dog, who will be housing me for the next couple of weeks. I'm supposed to be about 10 minutes walk from the school in central Seville. Looking forward to taking a walk in the afternoon when I land in the city!
